Governor Adeleke’s Whereabouts: Osun APC Demands Answers
Governor Adeleke’s whereabouts has become a trending political issue in Osun State as the All Progressives Congress (APC) raises concern over his two-week absence from public duties. The party is demanding answers regarding who is currently governing the state.
The Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has publicly questioned the whereabouts of Governor Ademola Adeleke, who has been absent from official duties and public events for over two weeks.
In a statement released earlier this week, the APC accused the governor of leaving the state without informing the public or officially transferring responsibilities to his deputy. The party is demanding to know who is currently in charge of governing Osun State.
According to Adeleke’s office, the governor is in the United States attending a private family event, believed to be the wedding of his nephew, popular singer Davido. His deputy, Kola Adewusi, is said to be overseeing state matters in his absence and remains in constant communication with the governor.
This is not the first time Adeleke’s absences have drawn criticism. In 2023, similar concerns were raised by the APC when the governor was reportedly away for over a month without formal notice.
