Akpabio Condoles APC Chairman Yilwatda on Mother’s Death
Senator Godswill Akpabio has extended heartfelt condolences to APC National Chairman Professor Nentawe Yilwatda on the passing of his beloved mother, Mrs. Lydia Yilwatda, who died at age 83 at the University of Jos Teaching Hospital. Akpabio described the loss as a deeply personal and emotional blow, not just to Professor Yilwatda but to the entire APC family and the nation at large.
He recalled that Mrs. Yilwatda was admired for her unwavering faith and service within her community, especially through her active involvement in the Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN). Her legacy, he noted, lives on in her children’s accomplishments and the values she passed on.
In a note of comfort, Akpabio urged Professor Yilwatda and his family to find strength in their memories and encouraged prayers for the repose of his mother’s soul. He commended her life of dedication and encouraged all of Nigeria to honor her legacy of service and humility.
