This N30 per litre reduction underscores Dangote Refinery’s ongoing commitment to national development amid volatile global crude oil prices. In the statement, the company reiterated its assurance of a steady supply of petroleum through measures including the deployment of 4,000 CNG-powered trucks for fuel distribution nationwide, beginning August 15.Vanguard NewsNaija News

The price adjustment follows a recent trend of strategic pricing aimed at cushioning Nigerians from escalating pump prices. While challenges like logistics, taxes, and market margins still affect pump price pass-throughs, industry experts anticipate this move will help curb further hikes in retail fuel costs.
