I Believe Genuine Miracles Still Exist — Reverend Tioluwani a.k.a. Lesekese

Reverend Paul Tioluwani, popularly known as Lesekese, is the founder of Bible Way Crusaders Church International and the president of the Care People Foundation. In a recent Nation article, he passionately affirmed his belief that genuine miracles still exist, inviting everyone to witness divine interventions firsthand.

His conviction stems from a near-death experience following surgery in Ibadan, during which he felt his soul leave his body. He described seeing himself in a line awaiting judgment before angels and witnessing a figure suspended in mid-air, whom he recognized as Jesus. He was told: “Your time is not yet up. I am sending you back. Champion the cause of the poor, the disabled, and the underprivileged.” That divine calling remains the fuel for his lifelong mission.

With just ₦20, ₦15 for garri and ₦5 for sugar, under a bridge in 1990, Reverend Tioluwani began serving those in need. From that humble start, his ministry has grown into significant charitable work, including providing cars, support for travel, and ongoing relief for widows and vulnerable communities.

He reiterated that even amidst Nigeria’s economic hardships, he operates under God’s economy, guided by Philippians 4:19: “My God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”

Highlighting ongoing initiatives, Reverend Tioluwani revealed plans for infrastructure to support education and care for the elderly. His organization has raised graduates from its orphanage—among them a civil engineer in Nigeria’s army, and continues to expand vocational training and university access without tuition burdens.

Looking ahead, the much-anticipated Miracle Rally is scheduled to take place at Adamasigba Stadium. Attendees will benefit from free medical treatments provided by U.S. professionals, ₦10,000 each for around 100 widows, and free rice and Christian literature distribution. Gospel music ministers Mike Abdul and Psalmos will lead worship. Most importantly, Reverend Tioluwani invites people to experience the raw power of God and personal transformation. “I believe genuine miracles still exist,” he asserted once more.
