Shehu Sani Advises Jonathan Against Contesting 2027 Presidential Election

Former Kaduna Senator and human rights activist, Shehu Sani, has publicly advised former President Goodluck Jonathan against contesting the 2027 Nigerian presidential election.

Speaking on TV’s Sunday Politics, Sani noted that the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Jonathan once relied on is no longer the united institution it used to be. He pointed out that key segments of the party, particularly in the Southwest, currently support President Tinubu, with many of its members aligned with the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
